Students study the story of women's entry into the clergy in several different denominations. Then they write short reports of the enter of clergywomen into different denominations, and discuss ways in which their stories teach us something about commitment to a calling. Students examine the dark side of history and create books expressing their desire for peace and justice. After folding paper into quarter sections and then cutting it, they sew the pages together making a book. The books contain a student-created drawing and on the inside, students write and illustrate historical facts about injustice.
