Young scholars view a PowerPoint presentation with pictures about ancient India to discuss the impact India had on the world’s architecture. In this history lesson, students use discussion questions to guide their lesson.
Sixth graders compare and contrast Hinduism and Buddhism. In this ancient India lesson, 6th graders use Inspiration software to create graphic organizers that show the similarities and differences between Hinduism and Buddhism.
Seventh graders study the history and civilization of the Indus Valley. In this Ancient India instructional activity, 7th graders research the political and social characteristics of the Indus Valley civilization. Students create a travel brochure based on the political, social, geographical, economic, and cultural research they found.
