A set of questions tests knowledge of partial pressures and some gas stoichiometry. After studying details of gas mixtures and the conditions, your class calculate the partial pressures of each gas, and in some cases their densities.
Use these questions for more practice of reaction equilibriums and calculating constants. Space is provided for your class to work with the equilibrium equation and manipulate the data provided to find the constant "K". The three questions are relatively straightforward and give all the data needed for practice.
These two pages provide you with review questions for acids and bases. The questions progress in difficulty and require students to calculate pHs of solutions, percent ionization and acid/base concentrations. By working through these processes from memory, your students clarify their understanding of the calculations and the acid/base behavior in solutions. A straightforward review sheet that you could use in class or as homework.
Students review the definitions of minerals and gemstones and learn about their properties. They select a gemstone to research, such as sapphire, and create a poster that shows the gemstone's appearance, properties, and chemical makeup.
In this chemistry worksheet, students read and investigate lewis structures and information upon subjects like polarity. The worksheets have an abundant amount of reference material.
Explore chemistry by having your class answer 15 short answer questions about chemical reactions. This worksheet is related to Bill Nye the Science Guy: Chemical Reactions.
In this chemistry worksheet, students write chemical equations. They answer 7 exercises on balancing equations and calculate mass of reactants and products.
In this chemical reactions worksheet, students solve 16 exercises by writing and balancing chemical reactions. They calculate the concentration of various solutions.
In this chemistry unit worksheet, students study the energy involved in chemical reactions. They solve 7 exercise sections on chemical equations.
In this chemistry worksheet, students complete 22 problems and fill in the blank questions on quantum numbers, electron configuration and hybridization of orbitals.
