They rank various criteria for selecting colleges, discuss rewards and obstacles facing Afghani women attending American colleges, and compare several foreign colleges and universities.
Young scholars navigate the web to access information about the Underground Railroad in Erie, Pa. In this Underground Railroad instructional activity, students discuss Hamilton Waters and Harry T. Burleigh. Young scholars use primary sources and negro spirituals to learn about the Underground Railroad.
Pupils use the Internet to research colleges. They explore basic college terms, room and board, tuition costs, and areas of study.
