Coordinate Geometry Lesson Plans

Students construct circles using Cabri Jr.  In this circle construction using Cabri Jr. lesson plan, students construct a circle using Cabri Jr.  Students measure the diameter and radius.  Students find points on the circle in order to find an equation to model their circle.  Students move their circle and discuss the differences in the equation.

Students graph a figure on their TI-84 calculator and compute the area of the given space. Students investigate the motion of a ladder sliding down a building.  In this motion lesson, students use their Ti-Nspire to graph the height vs. distance from the wall of the ladder in various scenarios.  Students slide the ladder using a slider and construct the graph while sliding.
