Students research a monster from The Odyssey. In this lesson plan practicing research skills, students research the original myth about a monster found in Homer's epic poem. Students use facts from the poem and their research to create a newscast about the monster.
Students look at the painting Fog Warning by Winslow Homer and create 2 art projects based on water color. In this art lesson plan, students blow wet colored dots through a straw onto paper, and use water color to blend colors together.
Students read and interpret the epic poem The Odyssey by Homer. They interlock this poem to other spectacular people or events such as Amelia Earhart and the Bermuda Triangle. A vast array of excellent assignments are given within this lesson.
