Using Key Words to Unlock Math Word Problems

What are the important words that allow students to solve math word problems? Mathematicians will utilize the visual thesaurus to help define operational words for solving problems. Learners will create a four-quadrant table using mathematical words and write four flash cards using mathematical symbols. Finally, they will read problems and ascertain which is the correct symbol.
