This is a thouroughly explained expository reading lesson that delves into a variety of research-baed practice, including Bloom's Taxonomy and Reciprocal Teaching. Vocabulary is front-loaded before elementary students listen, read, and write responses to articles from the February 2006 issue of Click Magazine. They engage in reading comprehension activities in whole group, small group, and individual sessions.
