Students complete a final project (this lesson is part of alarger unit) where they construct, present and analyze information about news journalism from a variety of mediums: newspapers, radio and television. They culminate the unit with a test.

Students define and clarify unfamiliar vocabulary words in a vocabulary journal from the novel "Wish You Well" by David Baldacci. They write what they think the definition is and the context clues, read the surrounding sentences, and complete a graphic organizer.
