Weekly Math Challenge
- Students earn special rewards for solving math challenges. They create a Math Challenge notebook or a booklet by stapling together pages of writing paper. They hand in the notebook when they are satisfied with their solution.

When Are We Ever Going to USE This MATH?
- Students engage in discussion of various occupations and learn where math fits into the scheme of things. They are diagnostically assessed to determine proficiency in computer, writing, and problem-solving mathematical skills set in real-world.

Math Scramble
- Students use math skills and teamwork to solve math problems. Each student gets a card with a number on it. On command, teacher calls out a sum of a math problem. They find others to figure with their number in that math problem.
