By the end of grade 4, students will:

Identify and understand the concepts of length, angle of measure, area, capacity, volume, mass, temperature, time, and money. Have an intuitive understanding of the process of measurement. Select and use appropriate standard and non-standard units of measure. Compare and order objects according to some measurable attribute. Estimate measures. Take actual measurements and record and explain the results.
