Learners research one of the 50 states. In this United States lesson plan, each student lists all 50 states in alphabetical order and use National Geographic and the Internet to research one state of their choosing. Research will focus on environment, history, national landmarks, economics and manufacturing. Students present their finding to their peers, who then have to guess which state is being presented.
