What is a mystery? Learners complete an anagram worksheet to discover the mystery genre. First, they listen as the teacher reads from All About Mysteries and notes defining words on the board. Then they read a mystery and examine it for parts that show the characteristics of a mystery. They have a "guess the genre" worksheet that they will use and can either work alone to complete a worksheet on another mystery. Handouts are included.
