What I’ve always strived for during my 16 years of teaching, is to challenge and engage all my students, from the most struggling to the most brilliant. Having taught at my district’s GATE magnet school for several years now, my focus has been especially attuned to the needs of gifted learners; however, I believe that creative and well-designed lessons are effective for any group of students. Presenting workshops to educators all over California for many years has brought me great satisfaction- but just as I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to share my professional expertise with other teachers, I relish the chance to learn from them as well. Lesson Planet is a great resource for dedicated teachers, and I am honored to be a part of it.
