It becomes the first commercial tenant in America's tallest building.\u003cbr/\u003eThe 104-story, $3.9 billion skyscraper dominates the Manhattan skyline. \u003cbr/\u003eIt's the centerpiece of the 16-acre site where the decimated twin towers once stood and where more than 2,700 people died on Sept. 11, 2001, buried under smoking mounds of fiery debris.\u003cbr/\u003ePrior to the move, the Port Authority addressed any issues employees might have had about moving into the tower.\u003cbr/\u003e\"This is the safest class A office space not in the Nation, but any place in the world. Port Authority has moved into 4 World Trade Center last week. Downtown previously was fully occupied by insurance firms, and banks, and law firms and today, especially because of Conde Nast signing at 1 World Trade Center, it transformed downtown's complexion of tenant-mix.
