He speaks about unemployment but does not address a fundamental issue here in Chile which is what type of jobs are we talking about. We have been experiencing this problem during the last few weeks, as we have witnessed in the copper factories. I want there to be more jobs, and I will not commit to a million jobs because we have already created 150 thousand new jobs this past year. But I don't want just any type of job, I want them to be decent and dignified jobs with benefits. \u003cbr/\u003eI do not want people to be fired in December and rehired in March.\"\u003cbr/\u003e4. I do not believe that there are people who are devil spawns, I think we are all the children of one God. This is not a male-female issue (the run for the presidency). I think women are perfectly capable of assuming any type of job. They are just as intelligent as men. I am a entrepreneur. My father was a public works employee, who was a blue collar man who never gave us any material things. I received a great education, and I know the value of a great education. Wide of debate\u003cbr/\u003eChile's two presidential candidates answered tough questions on Wednesday night, as a panel of local journalists grilled the two hopefuls during the campaign's first televised debate. \u003cbr/\u003eAccording to a recent Imaginacion Consultores poll, Socialist candidate Michelle Bachelet leads the runoff toward the presidency with 48.7 percent. \u003cbr/\u003eAs Chilean voters prepare to vote for the second time on January 15, 2006, debate mediators asked each of the candidates to define some of the differences between them.\u003cbr/\u003eBachelet, who would be Chile's first female president if elected, focused on the country's employment issues. \u003cbr/\u003e\"I want there to be more jobs, and I will not commit to a million jobs because we have already created 150 thousand new jobs this past year,\" Bachelet said. \u003cbr/\u003eWhen questioned with how to win over undecided voters, Pinera touched on his Christian background and reinforced the idea that this campaign is not a gender issue. \u003cbr/\u003e\"This is not a male-female issue (the run for the presidency).\" Pinera said.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I think women are perfectly capable of assuming any type of job. spawn. \u003cbr/\u003eOthers have said billionaire entrepreneur Sebastian Pinera could be corrupt and is an elitist. \u003cbr/\u003eChile originally voted for president last December, the campaign was
