There is a lot of romantic places that people from Europe, from the world in general will treat as romantic places... but, still, it's quite dirty, streets are quite dirty, and people are not always very kind, it depends.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBut for others nothing can break the romantic spell cast by the city. \u003cbr/\u003eVictor and Hanna Shi are from Shanghai in China. This is their second visit to Paris, their first was a very romantic occasion.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I proposed to my wife during our first visit to Paris, so this is our second time (here), so it's sweet and romantic\", says Mr. Shi\u003cbr/\u003eThe steps in front of the highest point in the city is a favourite place for Parisians and tourists to sit and enjoy the sunshine.\u003cbr/\u003eAbove them rises, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, a Roman Catholic church.\u003cbr/\u003eLocated at the summit of Montmartre, it was consecrated in 1919.\u003cbr/\u003eOthers take a boat ride in one of the famous Bateau Mouches, glass top boats which travel along the River Seine.\u003cbr/\u003eEverywhere there are signs of Spring with flowers blooming, even outside Notre Dame Cathedral, the focal point in the French writer Victor Hugo's novel \"The Hunchback of Notre-Dame\".\u003cbr/\u003eAnd romance is definitely in the air, as Paris wakes up to the first signs of a warm summer to come.
