Its founders, Chinese pop diva Faye Wong and husband Li Ya Peng, solicited help of their A-lister friends such as actress Carina Lau, Vicki Zhao, Miriam Yeung, and Chinese pop star Na Ying to support their cause.  In its 7 years of operation, the SmileAngel Foundation aims to help children born with cleft lip or other birth defects from low income families to receive reconstructive surgery. Monday night's charity gala also celebrates the one year anniversary of the Beijing SmileAngel Children's Hospital. \u003cbr/\u003eDuring the charity dinner, 10 artworks were auction off to raise fundS for the organization. Most noticeably is the painting of a panda bear by the 7-year-old Li Yan, daughter Faye Wong and Li Ya Peng, which sold for $1 million Hong Kong Dollars. Li Ya Peng talked about his daughter's art work and couldn't be more proud that she is pitching in to help out the cause that began because of her.
