Gong spiritual group held a rally in Sydney, urging the world to pay attention to what it claims is China's abuse of its followers.\u003cbr/\u003eMembers of the Falun Gong - which is banned in China as an evil cult - performed a play highlighting the plight of its members.\u003cbr/\u003eFalun Gong claim its members are arrested, often tortured, have their organs harvested and are sometimes murdered in captivity.\u003cbr/\u003eThey say that pregnant women and young children are treated with callous disregard for their condition.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Falun Gong practitioners, they have been organ harvested, and like the kids labours, and women labours - like slaves,\" said Sheng Xue, a Falun Gong members at Thursday's rally.\u003cbr/\u003e\"And the Western countries leaders must pay attention to those (them), because it is part of the world, it is not something, they can avoid,\" she added.\u003cbr/\u003eFalun Gong supporters at the rally held banners and signs highlighting China's \"crimes against humanity\" and calling for and end to \"the Chinese imperialist regime.\" \u003cbr/\u003eThe Chinese government routinely says Falun Gong members are trying to sow division in society and ultimately want to overthrow the regime.\u003cbr/\u003eAustralia is home to many different groups that have emigrated to the island-continent and the demonstration was also attended by Uighurs from the Muslim west of China, and Tibetans as well as the Falun Gong members.\u003cbr/\u003eLeaders of the Pacific Rim nations are in Sydney for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit and security around the city has been tight as Australian officials took unusual lengths to make sure leaders were not bothered by protests. \u003cbr/\u003eWhen police asked them not to march to Hyde Park they argued and were eventually given permission although the obeyed police directions not to disturb traffic.\u003cbr/\u003eFalun Gong is also known as Falun
