their own. \u003cbr/\u003eTheir wares were put on display at a contest on Wednesday at the Ideal Home Exhibition in London, and the winner was a cake modelled in the shape of the royal couple. \u003cbr/\u003eIt took Michelle Wibow eighty hours to make this cake, complete with William's nose shaped in marzipan, and Kate's veil in the most fragile of icing. \u003cbr/\u003eAnd not everyone appreciated the effort. \u003cbr/\u003eTwo little girls almost fell into the cake, and one visitor made her doubts clear. \u003cbr/\u003e\"I don't like it,\" said Joy Drain, 71, from London. \"It's like a waxwork.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBut many other visitors applauded the cake as a work of art, earning the baker who designed it, Michelle Wibow, top prize. \u003cbr/\u003e\"Normally people make cakes that are round or tiered, and I wanted to do something different,\" explained Wibow, 33, who runs a bakery in Sussex, to the south of the capital. \u003cbr/\u003eOther professional-level entrants to the competition included a cake in the shape of a royal carriage, and another based on a long, flowing wedding dress. \u003cbr/\u003eAcross the hall was a table showing cakes submitted by amateurs, including several based on the British flag. \u003cbr/\u003eAnother took the form of a Royal Ascot hat, beloved of aristocratic British women, with a marzipan cup of tea perched on top. \u003cbr/\u003eIt's a fair guess that the official royal wedding cake, when it's revealed to the world, will be less kitsch and less fun - but rather
