Various of  Tutankhamun''s  coffin on display at museum\u003cbr/\u003eScientists in Egypt say King Tut wasn''t murdered by a blow to the head, nor was his chest crushed in an accident according to the results of a new high tech CT scan, but rather a broken leg could have led to the King''s downfall. \u003cbr/\u003eThe results of the CT scan, released on Tuesday, raised  the new possibility citing Tut broke his left thigh severely - puncturing his\u003cbr/\u003eskin - just days before his death and that could have caused an infection.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Egyptian-led team that poured over 1,700 CT images taken of Tut''s body two months ago was split over that theory, with some saying the fracture came when the mummy was discovered in 1922 in Luxor''s Valley of the Kings.\u003cbr/\u003eTut could have died of natural causes or even have been poisoned, Egyptian antiquities director Zahi Hawass said.\u003cbr/\u003eStill the CT results provided the most revealing insight yet into the life of ancient Egypt''s most famous king, who ruled 3,300 years ago.\u003cbr/\u003eTutankhamun was a well-fed, healthy, yet slightly built 19-year-old, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall (170 centimetres), at the time of his death, the results suggested.
