But this project I am thinking of my legacy for my child. It's not how I choose what I produce but in this one in particular, yes.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe book of poetry essays, on which the film is based, was originally published in 1923 and has \"sold more than 100 million copies around the world,\" explains Hayek.\u003cbr/\u003e\"It's very inviting for everyone, different religions, different ages.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBut how do you make it in to a film?\" she added.\u003cbr/\u003e\"First of all I thought animation was the perfect way to do it because visually you can do extraordinary things. There's a lot of freedom to it.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe film is split into different chapters which are based on poems in the book.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I thought we could make a little story, a main story that within the story you could take journeys in to someone's imagination and in this case a little girl. But how do you make it into a film? And so first of all I thought animation was the perfect way to do it because visually you can do extraordinary things. There's a lot of freedom to it. And then I thought we could make a little story, a main story that within the story you could take journeys into someone's imagination and in this case a little girl. And so the film is very audacious because it has nine animators and they all have a completely different style but it all feels like one film. And all these different places that you go to are part of how she sees what she's hearing from the prophet, from the poet. So you take many journeys within the film but you always come back right away back into the main story. And so it's very, very unique in that way and it was a big risk that we took and we are very lucky that it works. And it works. Obviously, probably the first time that I read it, the chapter that I was most in awe of was on love and now on children. You see so it's something that you can always go back to and learn something different. What I do love about it is that it's not preachy.
