He obviously was,\" said Derek Bennett, the chief of staff with Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Unfortunately, he's not able to get the job done,\" he said.\u003cbr/\u003ePresident Barack Obama, under mounting pressure to act from fellow Democrats who are worried about political fallout in the fall elections, praised the retired four-star general and said he accepted his resignation with \"considerable regret.\" \u003cbr/\u003e\"He was a four star general in the military.
