this Wednesday, America's liberal left is launching a talkshow station it hopes will end the domination of  US talk radio by rightwing commentators. \u003cbr/\u003eAir America Radio will broadcast initially in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco and there are plans to add Portland, Oregon, and another station near Los Angeles soon.   \u003cbr/\u003eUS comedian Al Franken will be the lead personality on the station's airwaves and baiting conservatives is one of his favourite pastimes. \u003cbr/\u003eHe has plenty of material on his arch-rival having written a  book entitled \"Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot\".\u003cbr/\u003eFranken, who has signed a one-year contract with the network, made it clear that he also intends to use his pulpit to pillory President Bush in the run-up to the 2004 US election.\u003cbr/\u003eOther presenters will include the rapper Chuck D, the actor and TV comedian Janeane Garofalo and Robert Kennedy Jr, an environmentalist and nephew of the former president, John F Kennedy. \u003cbr/\u003eOther shows will be hosted by Randi Rhodes, a radio personality from southern Florida, and Lizz Winstead, a co-creator of \"The Daily Show\" on the Comedy Central TV network.  \u003cbr/\u003eFranken, in a swipe at Fox News host Bill O'Reilly, plans to call his midday show \"The O'Franken Factor.\"  His co-host on \"The O'Franken Factor\" is Katherine Lanpher.\u003cbr/\u003eMark Walsh, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Progress Media Inc, insisted they were in it for the long  haul and  weren't just a \"regime change radio\"
