You couldn't build this kind of building in many parts of the world, you couldn't do it in downtown Jakarta because the air quality issues that you have. I always joke that our bigger picture goal here is to spread gospel bamboo and we got a lot of visitors who come here, I call them the bamboo junkies, who come to pay homage to this mothership here, this building Hardy's school, which is maybe the largest bamboo building in asia, maybe the largest bamboo building in the world, probably the most beautiful bamboo structure anywhere.\"  \u003cbr/\u003e18. Many species are strong enough to build with, within as little as five years.\u003cbr/\u003eCheap, tough as concrete with the ability to bend, and incredibly abundant, the possibilities are almost limitless.   \u003cbr/\u003eBali's craze, bringing together entrepreneurial expats and local craftsmen, started six years ago with the founding of a local bamboo production company for the construction of Green School, an exclusive international school with 275 students.\u003cbr/\u003eSince then, more than a dozen projects have sprung up across the so-called \"island of the Gods.\"    \u003cbr/\u003eBen MacRory is the Head of Communication at Green School \u003cbr/\u003e\" in this part of the world we are lucky enough to obviously be in a place with the climate where we could build open air structures, with bamboo.
