It has reached, you know, 165- thousand cows have been infected. At the same time a variant of the Creutzfeldt-Jacob  disease is appearing in the United Kingdom although the number of cases is limited,  only about 15. So people say that more people could be infected, so at this stage it's  felt that the United Kingdom should have acted before, when the first scientific data was  available around 1988 and 1989, instead of that no action was taken.
