or artificial barriers found in the most fluid, athletic and aesthetically appealing manner. \u003cbr/\u003eThe trend has spread from the French suburbs to London to Rome and now it is becoming popular in the Iranian capital Tehran. \u003cbr/\u003eParkour originated in France where disaffected youths decided to turn their urban environment into a challenging obstacle course.  \u003cbr/\u003eParkour can involve roof jumping, fence vaulting and wall scaling -in fact anything which can be negotiated by hand or foot. \u003cbr/\u003ePart acrobatics, part gymnastics, part climbing - Parkour's aim is to get someone from A to B without safety nets or harnesses no matter what lies in your path. \u003cbr/\u003eIn the Iranian, capital Tehran, a group of young men have been practising Parkour for six years. \u003cbr/\u003eArman Khashe'ee, one of the first Parkour practitioner in Iran says he and his friends have no problem with Iranian police and now even sport federations are cooperating with them. \u003cbr/\u003eEhsan Dadfar says they are trying to convince people that Parkour is not dangerous and pointless and that the skills could be useful for emergency services such as fire fighters. \u003cbr/\u003eEhsan says many people still oppose youths who perform Parkour in his neighbourhood. \u003cbr/\u003eAmir-Hossein Matin who spends much of his free time practicing Parkour with his friends believes the sport helps him release his pent-up energy and makes him feel nothing can stop him anymore.\u003cbr/\u003eThe sport began in the late 1980s, and was founded by Frenchman David Belle who was influenced by martial arts, gymnastics and military-obstacle-course training.  \u003cbr/\u003eA participant, who's called a \"traceur\" (free-runner), attempts to move through his or her environment as quickly and fluidly as possible by running, jumping and climbing past any obstacles that come in his or her path.  \u003cbr/\u003eOn the surface, these obstacles are physical: a handrail, a park bench, a wall, but metaphorically, they might also be mental and social fences.   \u003cbr/\u003eFrom the elementary movements, such as dash vaults, to the
