Wherever you tune into any local radio station, you will listen to the program. We created something special. All the local newspapers and websites cooperated with us.\"\u003cbr/\u003eAnd he says the feat has some impressive supporters: \"The Palestinian Prime Minister visited me and the President invited me to his office to see what I am doing. Not only that, but also he called me and took part in the program to support me. Before, we used to run after the officials and people in charge. But when you create something special like this everyone runs after you.\"\u003cbr/\u003eSafety is crucial - with a doctor monitoring Alawi's health. \u003cbr/\u003eHe makes sure the presenter is coping with the physical demands of being awake and speaking for 50 hours.\u003cbr/\u003eThere's plenty of water to keep him hydrated.\u003cbr/\u003eAnd food for when he needs an energy boost.\u003cbr/\u003eAlawi and his guests cover a range of topics, from unemployment to Palestinian concerns following the Gaza war.\u003cbr/\u003eFor Alawi, it's important this is about more than just breaking records: \"There was an organised effort for several months to reach this moment and to break the numbers and achieve a new record .
