Bush.\u003cbr/\u003e\"In the same way the government has now re-examined the access that the alleged Wikileaks leaker, Private Manning, enjoyed as a very junior enlisted soldier, in accessing hundreds of thousands of confidential secret and top-secret emails.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe first explosive document Snowden revealed was a top secret court order issued by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that granted a three-month renewal for a massive collection of American phone records. That order was signed on 25 April.\u003cbr/\u003eSnowden also gave the Washington Post and the Guardian a PowerPoint presentation on another secret programme that collects online usage by the nine Internet providers. \u003cbr/\u003eThe US government says it uses that information only to track foreigners' use overseas.\u003cbr/\u003eThere was mixed reaction on the streets of Hong Kong on June 13th to an interview by the elusive former CIA employee Edward Snowden, who leaked top-secret documents about sweeping US surveillance programs.\u003cbr/\u003eSnowden told a Hong Kong newspaper that U.S. government had been hacking into computers in there and on the mainland China for years.\u003cbr/\u003eKen Law, a financial analyst, said he wasn't \"too worried\" that he might being checked as he was \"just an ordinary citizen\".\u003cbr/\u003e\"However, this incident is hurting the credibility of US government, because the impression is given that the US government is reliable and kind to its citizens. Now the citizens would have to rethink if the US government is worthy of their trust,\" Law said.\u003cbr/\u003eNot everyone shares his attitude.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I feel that my privacy could be compromised,\" said Ms Lee.\u003cbr/\u003eSnowden, 29, fled the U.S. for a Hong Kong hotel in May to go public with top secret documents gathered through his work in Hawaii as a contractor through Booz Allen Hamilton with the National Security Agency, where he worked as a systems analyst.\u003cbr/\u003eHe revealed startlingly voracious spy programs that sweep up millions of Americans' telephone records, emails and Internet data in the hunt for security threats.\u003cbr/\u003eWith the United States considering criminal charges against him, Snowden told the South China Morning Post he hoped to stay in the autonomous region of China because and he has faith in \"the courts and people of Hong Kong to decide my fate.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe current whereabouts of Edward Snowden, the former US National Security Agency contractor wanted by the US for revealing highly classified surveillance programmes, remained unclear on June 26th. \u003cbr/\u003eRussian President Vladimir Putin said on June 25th that Snowden is in the transit zone of a Moscow airport and has not passed through Russian immigration, meaning he is not technically in Russia.\u003cbr/\u003eSnowden was believed to have landed in Russia on Sunday after being allowed to leave Hong Kong.\u003cbr/\u003eHe was on an Aeroflot flight from Hong Kong that arrived in Moscow shortly after 5 p.m. (1300gmt) Sunday and was booked on a flight to fly to Cuba on Monday, the Russian news agencies ITAR-Tass and Interfax reported, citing unnamed airline officials.\u003cbr/\u003eSnowden did not leave Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport with the other passengers and was not seen by a crowd of journalists waiting in the arrivals lounge.\u003cbr/\u003eInterfax reported that he was spending the night in the transit zone of the airport because he did not have a visa to enter Russia and had rented a room in a capsule hotel.\u003cbr/\u003eBut some Russians weren't convinced that Snowden was still in Russia, despite Russian President Vladimir Putin's claim that he was in the transit zone of Sheremetyevo airport. \u003cbr/\u003ePassenger Olga Lebedeva said: \"Nobody saw him here. Maybe he is not here at all and somebody is creating an unnecessary furore.\"\u003cbr/\u003eOn June 25th, Putin rejected US pleas to turn him over, saying Snowden was in the transit zone of
