Morocco has not passed similar legislation.And Youssef Chaqor, founder of Kilimanjaro Environment Company, says the authorities must also pass laws about the disposal of dirty food oil.\"The lack of such a law means restaurant owners are not obliged, those who have the waste, to use it in a responsible way,\" he says.\"From the ecological point it means to not put that waste down the drain or in the rubbish, because it is really bad for the environment.\"His dream is for recycling of the waste to become compulsory - and for Morocco to begin using biodiesel so they can keep the cleaned product in the country.Casablanca, Morocco - 25 October 20161. The first one is about the lack of specific regulations regarding to the collection (of the dirty food oil). This regulation should be very easy for the Moroccan government. We have already signed what we called a 'sector convention' with the Ministries of Environment, of Industry and Interior Ministry. This was to make sure that they will put a needed legislative framework and so we can make the investments we need in order to grow properly. So the lack of such a law means restaurant owners are not obliged, those who have the waste, to use it in a responsible way - i.e. from an ecological point and from a healthcare point. Let me be clear about that: from the ecological point it means to not put that waste down the drain or in the rubbish, because it is really bad for the environment.
