Michael Kirby on creating and researching the United Nation's report on Human Rights Abuse in North Korea Michael Kirby is one Australia's foremost legal minds, a former judge and lawyer of formidable reputation. He recently lead a United Nations commission looking for evidence of Human Rights Abuses in North Korea. In this short lecture he give a unique insight into the processes and methodology that the Commission employed. He highlights the incredible bravery of the witnesses who have testified in face of threats to their safety. He also explores some of the conditions in the prison camps of North Korea. This is a tremendously important lecture and will be of immense interest to students of international law as well as human rights advocates.
