Depression isn't as easy as \"just\" being healthier or exercising more, and it's not easy to understand why one might feel depressed. It's not that we're not trying hard enough when we are depressed; we can't snap out of it that easily. We feel like a burden when we are depressed, and don't want to annoy or bother others. We truly appreciate your efforts, but don't want you to try and \"fix\" us, either. Do you empathize with any of these feelings?
