Comment, like, share this story. Being in high school means having more freedom, being able to join clubs - like drama club - crushing on boys, and sometimes having an arch enemy. For Giselle, all of these things came together when she was in 9th grade - a Freshman. Gizelle joined the high school drama club with her friend - AND - as it turned out, the boy she had had a crush on forever, Jacob, also joined. Not only that, but the club was putting on the most romantic of all plays: Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare - and rumor had it that Gizelle's forever crush, Jacob, wanted the part of Romeo. If there was ever a school play to be in and play the lead role, this was it! So, of course, Gizelle wanted to get the lead role of Juliet AND be that other half of the famous balcony scene where the young lovers kiss! She thought to herself, \"what an opportunity to have my first kiss with my crush.\" Her friends encouraged her to go for it, telling her she was perfect for the lead part of Juliet, and so she built up her strength, rehearsed and went to audition. But, before she got into the auditorium this mean girl from her class stopped her - let her know that SHE was going for the part of Juliet too and that nobody would stop her or get in her way. Gizelle wasn't intimidated - she had prepared, practiced for days, knew her lines, and was ready for the audition. She watched the other girl audition and she had to admit, the girl was good - and the teachers who were doing the casting seemed to agree, they clapped and cheered. Gizelle would have to seriously bring it on if she was going to get the lead role in the school play - and that's exactly what she did! She nailed it! One of the teachers even wiped a tear from his eye - it was that good! The next day they posted the cast and, of course, Jacob was cast as Romeo, and, well, much to her joyous surprise, Gizelle was cast as Juliet. SHE GOT THE PART! And her enemy, Deanna - she was totally enraged... Not only did Gizelle get a kiss from Jacob, but, they started dating and are still together!! Not quite the same ending as Romeo and Juliet, thank goodness, Gizelle's story ended much much better! This is one kind of first kiss story...first kiss with your crush. A hot kiss that lead to her dating him, calling him her boyfriend and being so happy. And in the end, the nice girl got the guy and now she's in a relationship, all because of getting the part and that first kiss. Everyone has first kiss stories, school play and drama stories, love stories, relationship stories, broken heart stories...We want to her yours. Storytime with storybooth. What could be more fun?
