In this concert, Decoda (formerly known as The Declassified) presents a program that, like etchings, creates momentum and interplay through the use of musical lines, making evident the connection between the free and improvisational aesthetic of the etching process and music written using similar techniques. The program includes music by Rameau, Adès, Golijov, Muhly, Pärt, and Couperin. This concert is made possible by the Xerox Foundation.
