However, I've defined and explained the halo effect today so as to make it clear (with examples) that things can get tricky. The reverse halo effect and horn effect are textbook example of how the halo effect can actually backfire. I did my best to provide examples for both the reverse halo effect and the horn effect which *should* illustrate why things aren't always as obvious as they seem when it comes to marketing. Finally, you're probably asking yourself why you should care about the halo effect definition, explanations as to what the reverse halo effect is or horn effect examples... well, think of it as an investment in yourself.
