Built at NIST's Boulder Laboratories by John Lehman and his collaborators in the NIST Optoelectronics Division, the dark detectors promises to advance many technologies such as optical communications, laser-based manufacturing, the conversion of solar energy into electricity, and the sensitivity of industrial and satellite-borne sensors.\n
