They quickly learn...\nMarble Madness is an excellent problem solving activity that students complete towards the end of Boot Camp. Teams must use all the skills they learned at Boot Camp to quickly and efficiently get the marble to the cup. They quickly learn that rushing into a task without a plan is less effective then taking some time to plan and organize. What is Boot Camp? Boot Camp is an interactive skill-building program where students discuss and practice the skills required for success in high school, college, and beyond. Why run Boot Camp? I spend one week making sure my students have the right attitude and skills. One week is about 3% of the school year. If my students are 3% more productive then the time I spent at boot camp is worth it. The truth is that the students are 10%, 20%, or 50% more productive because they are excited and prepared. They will be able to learn faster and more efficient than students that don't attend boot camp.\n
