8+ Vocabulary for Shoes

Footwear- shoes

Arch support- part of the shoe in the middle and under your foot

Ankle boots- see video!

Sneakers (Am.) / Trainers (Br.)- any shoe that could be athletic

Faux leather- fake leather
Canvas- material used to make certain sneakers, like Converse (Cons for short!)

Snug- a bit tight but comfortable

Roomy- having some space; not tight

Retro/vintage- an older style

Punk/hardcore- a punk style, usually black leather and chunky
