The films in the series were created by young people in July 2021 and combine puppetry, model-making and animation. They explore stories of people and groups who have stood up for what they believed in, campaigned for change or lived in a way that was different to their contemporary society. The young people considered their ‘rebels’' actions and legacies, and reflected on how they are perceived today. In this video we look at the protests and strikes by women at the Ford car factory in Dagenham who campaigned for equal pay to their male collegues.\n
