Scott Wiener started Slice Out Hunger just by charging his friends a dollar a slice for pizzas he got donated. He thought it would be cool to make a contribution to the community and fight hunger while creating a fun event. After all who doesn't like pizza? The next thing he knew, he had an expansive NYC happening on his hands!

\"We are going to be able to feed 150,000 people because of this event,\" Scott noted. As if pizza could get any better, now it's helping end hunger!
