Hosted by Marysol Castro, The Hero In You highlights individuals and organizations that prove that with a little heart and soul, anything is possible. Sometimes a helping hand or a sympathetic ear are the only super powers you’ll ever need.

Episode Highlights:

• Disarmed: Israel Defense Forces soldier Izzy Ezagui lost his arm on a mission, but not his spirit. He re-trained and earned the right to return to his unit - a testament to his determination to not be defined by his injury.

• Tall Order Socks: Andrew Friedman left his wife and twin boys behind when went to work on 9/11. He never came home. With love and support from the community, they overcame their grief, and to honor Andrew, they created a business that donates 10% of their profits to the charity that helped them with their loss.

• Dr. Vince Patton: He was just trying to emulate his brother and join the Navy, but a wrong turn on the day he enlisted put Vince Patton on a path to becoming the first African American Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard.

• Fearless Like Me: Francesco Clark was 24 when a swimming pool accident left him paralyzed. Ironically, a skin condition, a side effect of the injury, led him to work with his father to create line of botanically –based products that not only helped heal his skin, but gave his life new meaning.

TV Personality and mother of 2, Marysol Castro is a veteran network newscaster who last year made Major League Baseball history when she stepped up to the mike at Citi Field as the first Latina PA Announcer for the NY Mets. As host of “The Hero In You”, Marysol builds on her “good news” legacy from the OnlyGood TV original Series “The Weekly Good.”
