Their 8 pounds, 4 ounces, 20-inch bundle of joy came into their lives and instantly stole their hearts. In this milestone episode of The Creation Of Us, we join the new parents as they celebrate Freya Loren Fazzino becoming the newest member of their family.

Baby Freya, named for the Nordic god of love and fertility, is doing well, learning about her world, and meeting the vibrant, active clan that is thrilled to finally have the chance to shower her with their love. Her arrival, however, did not exactly follow the script the girls had rehearsed.

Although the original plan was to do most of the labor at home and then deliver at the hospital, Christen felt uncomfortable waiting since she had become so big and didn’t quite feel right. She contacted her doctor and they agreed to have her come to the hospital for a C-Section. Luckily, there was an opening the next morning. After months of anxiously waiting in anticipation, suddenly it was show time for Heather and Christen.

Watch and hear all the details of the birth, the reactions of the families, and how the girls are adjusting to their new day to day routine as parents. Even their pets are getting into the act! Oliver has taken on the role of “protector” and is putting all his doggy senses to work to make sure all visitors know he has his eyes, ears, and nose on alert while they are near Freya.

He is also keeping the girls on their toes. “The first week Freya was home with us, when we would be up in the middle of the night, Oliver would bark at us when she would cry”, Christen explained. “We were trying to figure her out – what cry is this, does she need to be changed, is she tired… and he would bark at us as if to say… are you going to take care of this baby or do I?”

Rest assured, the girls are in charge and learning more about Freya each day… and are falling more in love with her every minute!
