A Bright Idea

Young scholars build a simple flashlight to understand how a light works. In this circuits and electricity lesson plan, students build a flashlight using a flashbulb, a "D" cell battery and a strip of aluminum foil. Young scholars experiment by building 4 different types of circuits. They answer 3 questions about their results.

Misty K.
As a middle school teacher and coach, I have very little spare time. This year, I was asked to teach 2 subjects (one of which I have never taught). Lesson Planet has helped me become more prepared without having to spend hours on the internet searching for ideas. Almost everything I need can now be found with one click of the mouse!
