A Character's Decalogue

Students write a short story about a character who has a decalogue (a list of ten personal beliefs). In this short story lesson, students first write their own decalogue, and then make one up for a fictional character. They use the character's decalogue in their short story.

Lesson Planet gives me ideas that help me organize differentiated instruction. I can always count on finding a great new idea to give a twist to a concept that has become routine.
