A Stitch in Time-Quilting

Fifth graders examine the history of quilt making as it relates to the principles of form and function during the Colonial time. In this "A Stitch in Time" Quilting lesson, 5th graders select a pattern to create a multi block quilt. They explore instructed cutting, sewing, and assembling skills, and work in pairs to complete a quilt.
