Do all quadrilaterals have right angles? Investigate attributes of these shapes with geometers, starting by finding four-sided shapes in the classroom. Learners conduct a think-pair-share search for quadrilaterals they can see then examine a bag of shapes on their desk (you'll need to prepare these ahead of time). The shapes should include squares, rhombi, non-regular quadrilaterals, and rectangles. They think about what all the shapes have in common as well as differences. Complete a t-chart together (included), recording attributes of all quadrilaterals and some quadrilaterals. Synthesize this information using the interactive online link which has scholars practice the skills and then take a quiz.
