Acceleration of a Freely Falling Object

Students explore the concept of acceleration.  In this acceleration lesson plan, students determine the acceleration of an object in free fall by collecting data using a graphing calculator and motion sensor.  Student plot the velocity v. time data along with the position v. time graph.  Students determine how both of these graphs relate to the acceleration of the object.
