Addition of Water (Acid-Catalyzed) Mechanism

Sal starts this lecture by presenting the question as it might appear in a test or chemistry problem set. After reviewing the naming of a molecule, and then drawing it to clarify the electron arrangement, he explains how to determine the mechanism of addition. Electronegativity of the ions determines the most stable carbocation and therefore the bonds that form.
