Adrinka Symbols

Students use the Internet to find a compilation of Adinkra symbols and print their findings. Students then design an individual symbol that represents a personal philosophy. They scan a drawing of their symbol into the classroom computer, and then print it onto an iron-on transfer. The image is ironed on to a piece of cloth colored to be representative of his/her emotions surrounding the chosen philosophy.
