A very simple lesson on identifying the letters of the alphabet. In it, young readers use something called the Alphabet Arc, which is embedded in the plan. It truly is an arc that has all of the letters present in the shape of a half-circle. Young readers must take cut-out letters, and place them on the alphabet arc in the proper place, saying the letter out loud as they place it on the worksheet. They continue until they have matched up all of the letters. A good modification would be to have the lowercase versions of the letters as the ones that need to get matched up with the uppercase letters.
